Kitchen Artefacts | Serving Board

Handmade in the New Zealand countryside by the very talented Tom Muir. He sources the salvaged timber from ancient walnut, matai and Kauri logs - some of the timbers are over 3000 years old. These platters are hand finished by Tom for many hours and are beautifully smooth.  Perfect for sashimi, cheeses or canapes.

Finished with a food safe German made plant based oil/wax product.

Each piece comes with a lovely background tag that has information on where it's timber was sourced.

Please keep me out of the dishwasher and feed the timber with coconut oil if it dries out.

Being hand made from rare timbers the sizes and colour tones vary,

The images show a selection of the serving boards, and the variation of wood, shape, size and colour from board to board.
