French Antique Glass Wine Jar

Wonderful French antique glass demijohns that were originally used to store wine.

c. 1890 - somehow miraculously survived unbroken for over 120 years.

These have been handblown and have some beautiful big bubbles and dimples in the glass. They have so much character and each one is so different. They are also beautiful objects for displaying long twigs or placed so that they catch the light to show off their unique characteristics. Very collectible and quite hard to find.
