Made from baby Yak wool, yak fibre is even softer than merino yet is super stong and very breathable. The wool is obtained by combing the baby yaks in spring just before they shed their winter coats. This collection offers an alternative to mass production and uses the finest cashmere and yak sourced direct from upper Mongolia.
They are made in a well integrated workshop in Kathmandu with a complete in-house facility for weaving, spinning, dyeing and tailoring ensures the products are of the highest quality. The company is owned by 2 female Nepalese designers and employs over 60 staff who are well looked after. Many employees make the pieces in their own home.
