White washed rattan is beautiful yet laid back. Ideal for a summery casual dining.

Handmade from woven Ata grass, each placemat is a work of art that has taken many hours to weave. After weaving the item is strengthened using a traditional smoking process done over smouldering coconut husks. The placemats are then whitewashed by hand to get their distinctive look.

We work direct with a family of master weavers in Lombok - our long term relationship ensures we only stock the best quality and that the weavers are paid fairly for their craft.

Please note the latest batch of placemats are slightly darker and thicker than prior shipments. The photo is of the latest batch.
