This simply stunning, or stunningly simple, pewter rimmed white ceramic dinner plate is part of the exclusive Convivio range. The Convivio range is made by Cosi Tabellini Italian pewter house. The collection is an evolution in design, culminating in the clever merging of materials into a single product, utilising the natural characteristics of both pewter and ceramic. The idea of the Convivio plate was to make a perfect match between the two materials without using any kind of adhesive at all. The clever fusion or pewter and ceramic is unique, an art perfected and handcrafted by Italian pewterers, producing a solid yet soulful plate, perfect for serving the main course, equally suited to formal and informal dining. It can be dressed up with matching items to form part of a table setting. And yet, it looks comfortable and relaxed mixed and matched or even on its own, or simply on a tray for a guilty TV dinner.
