This very special Tūī necklace is made from vintage silverware, hung on plaited natural linen thread and adorned with a freshwater pearl. The clasp is fashioned with a small piece of vintage silver and bound with sterling silver wire.
Made by Emma Cunningham at Flying Dog Studio in Whanganui, New Zealand. Emma draws inspiration from nature and is concerned with the preservation of it. Birds appear in her work as signposts or messengers. Each piece is handmade, and no two are the same.
Size: Linen cord approx 58cm long, Tui 9cm across
